"Tell the Captain I will be gone awhile." Ana had told her.
"Tell him yourself." The night elf snickered before walking off.
Ana listened closely, awaiting until the elf was long gone before sighing, "If I did it, he wouldn't let me go."
The woman stood, dusting herself off as she gave a look out into Stormwind Harbor. She had too much information presented before her to not suspect something would happen to her if she threatened to leave. Isaars had already threatened to kill her if she kept running her mouth; He had dismissed Nab's death and stated that she could do better and forget the worgen. Her feet had begun to walk out of the city, pouring over all she had learned.
Sarian's true form. That the curse was not on the ship itself but rather a person- Her Captain. The newest crewman was a killer with no hesitation to kill those he felt should die. Isaars was set on union with Sarian. That the fleet was beginning to lose touch which posed a threat to the structure and power. A mutiny was sure to come about if she didn't solve how to stop it. Change was on the wind, and it was not one that would leave her made family intact.
She stared forward on the road as she wandered through Stormwind Territories. Traveling through Elwynn as she tried to decipher anything and everything she could prepare for. That's when three things became clear to her.
1. She cannot brute strength her problems. Sarian is allowing Isaars to feel happy and as such she should not interfere. Ivan is a threat that seems to respect structure and as such she should reinsert her position to hold control.
2. Her heart is brittle and she should no longer trust it to guide her emotions. She had attempted to open it to Nabarius, only for the man to run away. He left a final wound upon it's already broken state with his death. No more will she allow it to do so.
3. Her duty to the fleet is all that will remain. Should Isaars become compromised and risk the lives of the ships.. She would be the one to strike him down. She will become the enemy, if that's what it will take to reunite the breaking allegiance.
"I am a pawn." She told herself out loud. "It's time to take my position to protect the King."
Glancing up at the path to Lakeshire, a spark arose in her gaze. "First move. Secure my life."
She quickly made her way up to the docks of Lakeshire, eyeing the guard patrols before shifting out of her clothing. She slipped into the water and out of sight. Holding her breath, she maneuvered her way under the bridge, climbing up on a small ledge of cobblestone.
"If they can't kill me, they'll have to live with me." She murmured to herself, summoning an old book she had stolen away. She began placing arcane sigils upon the pillar of the bridge, then along her arm. Carefully, she looked around before moving to summon and assemble pieces of an explosive and enchanting it.
She took some of the mana from the crystal Terran had given her, before enchanting the explosive and runes to become invisible. She then went back into the water to the dock to begin preparing the next part. As she dried off and changed into more proper looking attire, she began thinking through more problems.
"Seth and Lily. Civilians with no hope of surviving aboard. I must secure them a use and place." She muttered to herself, letting her hair down to dry as she began her way to the stable for a horse to Westfall. "Farmlands. They both know enough about farming to be able to live out there. They can provide for themselves and the front."
"Light I pray that they have yet to sell off that piece." She growled quietly as she rushed to Westfall. She had only been there the day before to look what happened to her old lands.
What else can you do? Once all of this is set.. What is the plan?
Play Chess.
She secured the deed with a hefty down payment, sending it away to be kept out of the others reach for the time being. She had begun making her way to check on the lands soil when she felt the shadows warp around her. Oh no. Time's Up. She stumbled and nearly fell as she came out of the summoning ritual.
"Why did you bring me back here?" Ana stared down Isabella.
"Dad told me to bring you here." The girl said sweetly.
"And if I am to leave?" Ana glanced towards the dock.
"To bring you back." Isabel answered, somewhat amused.
Ana sighed, running a hand through her hair. Time for her captivity for a bit.
Later that night...
"If you leave this crew.. Then that means I won't be breaking rules if I kill you." Ivan stated as he loomed over the woman.
"Try it. You think I'm not prepared to die? That I don't expect it? Kill me and a bomb will go off.. And the message left there will point back to this ship." Ana stated, hands on her hips.
Your move, Ivan.
